About the Tammikartano and Vaasa city hospital library
The Tammikartano and Vaasa city hospital library serves hospital patients, their relatives and visitors, and people living in the area. The library is located in the Tammikartano lobby next to the café. You can visit the library even outside of staffed hours: read books and magazines, borrow, and return items in the book return box. A librarian visits the hospital wards with a library trolley.
The Vaasa city library also has a hospital library in the Vanha Vaasa hospital and provides home library service to private persons and care facilities. The library also delivers materials to the Vaasa prison.
